Investment management

We build portfolios from the evidence, not from a product shelf. You pay us one transparent fee, so the advice answers to you.

Portfolio analysis

Portfolio analysis powered by Morningstar Direct Advisory Suite.

Every portfolio we manage is analyzed in Morningstar Direct Advisory Suite: risk scoring, asset allocation, fund screening, and performance history, all measured against your plan. You see exactly what you own, what it costs, and how much risk you're actually taking.

The portfolio is the easy part. The discipline is the product.

Most portfolios fail for behavioural reasons, not technical ones: chasing last year’s winner, sitting in cash waiting for clarity, selling at the bottom. Our job is to build a portfolio you can hold through a bad year, and then make sure you actually do.

We invest based on evidence. That means broad diversification, low costs, attention to tax, and systematic rebalancing. It does not mean predictions, hot products, or a new strategy every quarter.

Built around your whole plan, not sold to you.

Because we’re fee-based, the portfolio isn’t a product we sell you. It’s one part of your financial plan, sized and structured by your cash flow, your tax situation, and your goals. For incorporated clients, that includes investing corporate dollars alongside personal accounts so the whole picture stays tax-efficient.

You always know what you’re paying: our fee is one flat percentage, and we disclose the underlying fund costs on top of it. No trailing commissions on the funds we recommend, and no surprises.

Common questions, answered straight.

What does investment management cost?

One flat percentage of the assets we manage: 1.25% under $1M, 0.90% from $1M to $3M, and 0.75% from $3M to $5M, billed monthly plus applicable taxes. Underlying fund and ETF fees (roughly 0.09% to 0.35%) are additional. Full details are on our pricing page.

Do you pick stocks or time the market?

No. The evidence is clear that consistently picking winners and timing entries is not a reliable strategy. We build diversified portfolios, keep costs low, manage taxes, and rebalance systematically.
