Cash Flow Planning for High-Earning Canadians

High income doesn't automatically turn into wealth. We map what comes in, decide what every dollar is for, and build a funding order you can actually follow.

You can’t optimize what you haven’t mapped.

Most high earners don’t have a spending problem. They have a clarity problem. Money arrives from three or four directions (salary, bonus, equity vests, maybe dividends from a corporation), and it leaves in twenty. Without a map, even a great income produces a vague feeling that you should be further ahead by now.

Cash flow planning is the foundation everything else sits on. Tax planning, investing, insurance: all of it depends on knowing what comes in, what goes out, and what’s left to deploy.

From income to a funding order.

We start by mapping every income source, including the irregular ones. Then we set a savings rate that’s tied to your actual goals, not a rule of thumb. Finally, we build a funding order: which account gets filled first (FHSA, RRSP, TFSA, RESP), at what amount, and why.

The result is a system that runs mostly on autopilot. You know exactly what each dollar is doing, and we review it together every quarter so the plan moves when your life does.

Common questions, answered straight.

Is this budgeting?

Not in the line-item sense. We don't audit your coffee spending. We set a savings rate, automate the funding order, and let you spend the rest without guilt.

What if my income is lumpy?

That's most of our clients: RSU vests, bonuses, dividends from a corporation. The plan is built around irregular income, with rules for what happens when each chunk lands.
